An Autumn Fashion Wish List.

I’ve had a really good sort out of my wardrobe and I’m pretty determined to not impulse buy as I really don’t need too many new clothes. There is a big movement towards sustainable clothing and making more thoughtful and considered purchases. Those who follow me on Instagram will know that this is nothing new for me. I’m often found wearing things that have been lingering in my wardrobe for numbers of years and I can also be seen making use of hand me downs from my sister! She is a great one for having a clear out whereas I am more of a hoarder where clothes are concerned. The black dress my mum bought me for my 21st birthday is still going strong and has been my fail safe outfit on so many occasions in the last 19 years. I even have have a suede black mini skirt that I remember buying on a trip to Kensington Market when I was about 15. I’m still hanging on to it even though my Mother in Law tells me I’m too old to wear it now! I reckon it would still be ok with thick tights and a polo neck and flat boots so I’m not ready to give it away yet. As the new fashions come in there are always things that I  lust after but I try to make sure that they will go with things I already have. All of the cord items around have made me think of things I wish I hadn’t got rid of too! So I thought I would share my wish list with you and who knows maybe Father Christmas will see it as well??

Black Blazer Autograph at Marks and Spencer £99

I’ve been hankering after a black blazer for a while. I have a navy one which is so useful but I think a black one would go with so many things and smarten up jeans in the day and look great with the dresses and skirts I already have.

Ochre Funnel Neck Rib Knitted Jumper Miss Selfridge £32

The majority of the items in my Autumn/Winter wardrobe seem to be navy, brown and grey so I’m keen to inject a bit of colour. I love this mustard colour and the sleeve detail .

I’m so happy that cord is back in fashion. I love it! There are quite a few skirts around that I like but this one is a real bargain at £18 from Tu at Sainsbury’s.

and these trousers only £13 from Primark!

Leather Flat Pumps Marks and Spencer £25

These pumps are a classic and will go with so many things. At £25 they are a fraction of the cost of the Chanel ones that they are a tribute to.

Tan Gucci Belt £315

I think I will be forever lusting after this belt. This is the keep dreaming item on my wish list!

These are just a few items and I’m sure as there will be more things to tempt me but for now I’m going to try and work with what I’ve got. What pieces are you lusting after this Autumn?

  1. Those would all suit you perfectly! There’s a lovely mustard colour jumper in Tesco at the moment too!! I wonder if Father Christmas is feeling generous this year and that belt ends up in your stocking??!! 😜

    1. Thank you! I’ll have to have a look in Tesco. I can pretty much guarantee Father Christmas will not be that generous!!! 😂

  2. Some lovely things here. I am trying not to impulse buy also. Really aiming to style a bit more instead of shop because I would rather spend money on experiences and style what I already have. Apart from two coats that I bought I haven’t got that much lately. I am really hankering after some new suede puma trainers though.😍x

    1. Thanks Elaine. My problem is trying to resist a bargain. I’m trying to think whether I need things more as those bargains all add up! Trainers can be justified – they go with everything! X
